07/06/2009 12 NEW HOTELS TO BE LANUCHED BY PREMIER INN
The budget hotel chain Premier Inn has announced that it is due to launch 12 new hotels by the end of 2013. The properties are scheduled to go under construction in 2010 and should all be completed by 2013. Premier Inn, which is owned by Whitbread, will be adding 1,562 rooms to its fantastic portfolio.
Planning permission has recently been granted and the locations of each hotel has also been revealed. These include a property being built in North London, which is set to consist of 95 bedrooms and will be located in Islington. Others are planned for London's Old Street, another in Greenwich and the last in London will be in Waterloo. Three properties are set to be constructed in Scotland with one being in Dalkeith, one in Edinburgh and the last in Inverness.
Preston is due to see the opening of a hotel as well as Rochester, Stratford-upon-Avon and Sunbury-on-Thames. A deal has been finalised which enables Premier Inn to construct and open a building on Belfast's new waterfront development, the Titanic Quarter. This will consist of 120 bedrooms.
