09/21/2009 BEST WESTERN INTERNATIONAL OPENS NEW AIRPORT HOTEL
The Best Western Premier Amaranth Suvarnabhumi Airport Hotel has opened, making it the 18th Best Western Premier hotel in Asia and the first in Bangkok. The property has been launched to attract upscale leisure and business travellers. However it also serves the residential and commercial community surrounding Bangkok's international airport. Glenn de Souza, Best Western International Vice President International Operations for Asia has stated that this new hotel shows the more luxurious side of Best Western International.
The building consists of seven floors and 278 guestrooms including 238 deluxe suites and 39 Executive Club Floor rooms. Each room offers guests an IDD telephone along with a great work area and LCD flat screen TV with cable channels. Visitors will also be able to take advantage of the complementary WIFI access in the comfort of their bedroom. A swimming pool is one of the many features of the hotel and enables guests to either take a relaxing dip or embark on a swimming session to kip fit. Other amenities include a gymnasium, which provides modern fitness equipment. The Ama Spa allows guests to indulge in a variety of soothing massages and beauty treatments.
Business travellers can make use of the plush business centre as well as the Amaranth Ballroom, which has a capacity of up to 800 guests. A shuttle bus is available to visitors who can use the services to be taken to and from the Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport as well as to the BITEC Convention Centre, Bangna, and key points of access to downtown Bangkok.
