09/08/2009  BROOKLANDS HOTEL IN DODWORTH TO UNDERGO HUGE REFURBISHMENT

    It has been announced that Brooklands Hotel In Dodworth, South Yorkshire will be undergoing a 1.5 million revamp and restoration and is due to become part of the InterContinental Hotel Group as a franchised Holiday Inn. This is a great step for the property as Holiday Inn is a well-recognised brand and is also very popular. Even though it will become part of the group, the hotel will retain its independent status but is set to have a whole new look. All involved are said to be exceptionally excited about this project and it has been predicted that it will be very successful.

    The bedrooms are due to be revamped and will have more of a warm feeling to help guests feel relaxed and happy. The reception is also being refurbished and is set to be exceptionally welcoming and will give a better first impression. The conference facilities and restaurant will be more appealing after their refurbishments. However the restaurant will keep its name as Brooklands Restaurant and the hotel's current staff will be retained. The hotel is scheduled to open and the rebrand of the property is due to be completed by October. Holiday Inn hotels are focused on great service and complete customer satisfaction. Brookland's hotel will be no different.
