09/17/2009  STEENBERG HOTEL DUE TO OPEN A NEW MODERN CONFERENCE AND FUNCTION VENUE

    It has been announced that Steenberg Hotel will be opening a new, state-of-the-art conference and function venue. It will be located on the Steenberg Estate in the picturesque Constantia Valley and has been scheduled to open in November this year. Officials are hoping that the Steenberg Hotel will be singled out as one of the preferred conference and business destinations in Cape Town. The venue will be constructed across from the gorgeous 5-star boutique hotel and is due to have a peaceful and quiet garden setting, making it the perfect location for a conference or meeting.

    Cape Town city centre will be just 20 minutes away so visitors will have the opportunity to visit the city before or after their meeting. The conference and function venue will be able to seat up to thirty people, which means it will be perfect for small and medium sized events. Product launches, seminars, directors' meetings or corporate events and functions can all be held here. Visitors will witness beautiful views of the vineyards and mountains. The advanced video conferencing system will mean that an instant connection can be made from the conference room via a short access number.

    The new facilities are being built to attract more modern business travellers who are looking for a conference venue that has stylish and luxurious hotel accommodation.
