Italian Chef Aniello Turco partners up with Four Seasons

Nine Four Seasons hotels in Mainland China, Macau and Hong Kong have come together to curate a four week kaleidoscope of exclusive lifestyle and dining experience, taking turns to impact the culinary landscape in each respective city. The three day promotion at Four Seasons Hotel Hangzhou at West Lake will happen from November 2 to 4, 2017, celebrating the collaboration between Aniello Turco, the Michelin-star restaurant trained Chef of Italian restaurant MIO at Four Seasons Hotel Beijing, and Four Seasons Hotel Hangzhou at West Lake. During the promotion, he will join hands with Chef Wang Yong, Jin Sha head Chef, and local young artist Wu Fei from China Academy of Art to embark on a rare exquisite sensory journey.

As the Sous Chef of MIO Restaurant of Four Seasons Hotel Beijing, Chef Aniello Turco has been started on a journey of working in Michelin-starred restaurants of masters such as Alain Ducasse in Tuscany, Paris and London. He successfully elevated the status of Italian cuisine on the Chinese gourmet platform. He continued to channel creativity in his classic Italian cooking philosophies drawing more attention to the intricate cuisine. Meanwhile, Chef Wang Yong, the Chinese Executive Chef of Four Seasons Hotel Hangzhou at West Lake, is the culinary mogul of Zhejiang and Shanghai cuisine. On top of receiving many venerable accolades, he has been newly crowned “Chef of The Year” by GQ Magazine.

The magic of Chinese artistry, lake vistas and Italian culinary prowess meet in a showcase of culture and cuisine in Hangzhou. Michelin-star restaurant trained Italian Chef Aniello Turco, Jin Sha’s Executive Chinese Chef Wang Yong, and local Chinese artist Wu Fei will create exclusive dining experiences that are a feast for all of the senses during the three-day promotion.

The Return of the Marco Polo – When Italian Cuisine Meets Chinese Arts (November 2)
Marco Polo visited West Lake in the late 13th century and recorded it “greater than any in the world.” Welcomed with prosecco, canapés, and Chinese performances originating from the Nan Song dynasty, embark on a cross-cultural journey on beautiful West Lake in an ornate private boat for two. Enjoy an ethereal experience floating upon the UNESCO World Heritage site with an authentic Italian menu crafted by Michelin-star restaurant trained Chef Aniello Turco.

Encounter Italy in Hangzhou (November 3)
Experience authentic Italian ingredients and a true taste of traditional Italian culture at its finest, with an interactive experience and specially-created menu by Michelin-star restaurant trained Chef Aniello Turco, inspired by the majestic West Lake.

Fusion of Taste – A Combination of East and West (November 4)
Italian Chef Aniello Turco of Four Seasons Hotel Beijing collaborates with celebrated Executive Chinese Chef Wang Yong in an once-in-a-lifetime experience to unveil a fusion of East and West flavours pre-dinner cocktail party. Unfolding a journey of intimate dining experience prepared by Chef Wang in Jin Sha, the only restaurant in Hangzhou to be recognised by the Forbes Travel Guide.
