The Turin Palace Hotel in Turin, Italy,  has reopened after an extensive renovation.  The historic hotel, housed in a building dating back to 1850, now features 126 fully equipped rooms and a Presidential suite, a restaurant, meeting rooms and a spa.  The hotel is operated by the Marzot family,  who also  operate the Hotel Spadari al Duomo and the Hotel Gran Duca di York in Milan.  Architect Margherita Marzot has worked with hospitality designer Patrizia Poli to give the interiors of the hotel a facelift which has left intact the architectural shell of the building.  rooms are decorated in pastel hues and furnished with 1920’s and 1930’s period furniture. Original art works from prominent Turin-based artists are scatterd throughout the hotel. The rooftop bar and restaurant allows an uninterrupted view over the city and the Alps.
