Air France to lease its Boeing 787 to Barcelona for Mobile World Congress

Air France offers its customers participating in the Mobile World Congress, an international gathering for the mobile industry, the possibility to travel on board its latest-generation Boeing 787 aircraft, according to a press statement. Two round-trips connecting Paris-Charles de Gaulle to mobile world capital Barcelona, will be exceptionally operated by Boeing 787, with a capacity of 276 seats, the airline said.

To meet high demand, Air France is increasing its number of flights connecting Paris-Charles de Gaulle to Barcelona to allow as many people as possible to attend the Mobile World Congress. The Company is operating 37 additional flights throughout the duration of the trade show, representing a capacity increase of over 75%.

In total, 118 flights will connect Paris-Charles de Gaulle to Barcelona over the 6-day period from 26 February to 3 March 2017. On Sunday 26 February 2017, Air France will operate 15 flights from Paris-Charles de Gaulle to Barcelona, with the capacity to transport up to 2,700 customers to the exhibition.
