Hyatt, AccorHotels, and Hilton have been named as the best global companies to work for in the hospitality business by Fortunes, according to a report by Skift.
Fortune and Great Place to Work have been annually naming 25 of the world’s best multinational workplaces since 2011, according to reports, based on information from a Trust Index employee survey and Culture Audit assessment. The employers need to have at least 5,000 employees globally, and have 40% or 5,000 employees based outside of their headquarters country, according to Skift.
The companies are assessed based on feedback from employees. “I feel valued here. The brand is great, and the people who work here are great,” a Hyatt employee was quoted by Skift. “I feel that my managers and colleagues are supportive and that everyone is treated fairly and equally. Hyatt recognizes dedicated workers, and will help you progress.”
Earlier this year, Skift reminds, Hyatt and Hilton were also recognized on Fortune’s Top 100 Companies to Work For list, with Hyatt ranked 47th and Hilton ranked 56th. They were joined by Kimpton (20th), Four Seasons (70th), and Marriott (83rd), Skift added.
Last year, though, this year’s three leaders were ranked lower, according to Skift. Marriott was ranked 11th, Accor ranked 18th, and Hyatt was ranked 19th, Skift reported.
