KONE Corporation, a global leader in the elevator and escalator industry, will deliver 54 elevators and 20 escalators to Tianjin Pingan Teda IFC, a luxury mixed-use development in the city of Tianjin, located in the north-east of China.
The building will comprise of two towers rising up to 313 meters and 240 meters in height, including office space, luxurious apartments, and a high-end shopping center.
Throughout the new building, a big emphasis is given to sustainability by implementing for example energy saving solutions. Tianjin Pingan Teda IFC is also planned to host Tianjin’s first boutique shopping center that will encompass the themes of art, culture and ecology, and the 68-storey residential building will combine both living spaces and functional leisure spaces.
KONE will deliver 12 KONE MonoSpace® elevators, 37 KONE MiniSpace™ elevators, four KONE MiniSpace™ DoubleDeck elevators and one KONE MiniSpace™ Transformer elevator, as well as 20 KONE TravelMaster™110 escalators to the development. Additionally, the building will be equipped with KONE E-Link™ equipment monitoring system, securing the best possible tenant service quality in the building. The contract also includes two years of standard maintenance.
