Halekulani, the legendary Hawaii hotel, is recognized with the highest ratings in 2018 by both Forbes Travel Guide and AAA for La Mer, the hotel’s acclaimed Neoclassic French restaurant. Awarded the Five-Star by Forbes Travel Guide and the Five Diamond by AAA, La Mer continues to set the precedent for culinary excellence in Hawaii as the only establishment on the islands to receive both honors.

Featuring fine Neoclassic French cuisine, exquisite oceanfront surroundings and an award‐winning wine list, La Mer’s culinary program has earned its acclaim as the longest consecutively ranked AAA Five Diamond restaurant in Hawaii. The menu features dishes inspired by flavors from the south of France with uniquely blended indigenous Hawaiian ingredients. As a result of the restaurant’s unmatched dining experience, La Mer has also been recognized with the highest rating by Forbes Travel Guide in 2018.

“La Mer is a thriving testament to our success in delivering immaculate service and memorable dining experiences as the only restaurant in Hawaii to be awarded with a Five-Star by Forbes Travel Guide and Five Diamond by AAA,” said Ulrich Krauer, General Manager of Halekulani. “To receive top honors and be acknowledged as the finest dining establishment in Hawaii is humbling to our culinary team, who are passionate about creating an unsurpassed gastronomic journey for each guest.”

La Mer is open daily from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Gentlemen’s attire requires a long‐sleeve collared shirt or jacket. As an elegant fine dining restaurant, La Mer restricts patrons to adults and children eight years and older. For reservations please call (808) 923‐2311 or book online at OpenTable.
