Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts makes Bangkok debut

Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts is making its Bangkok debut, with the opening of a contemporary hotel in one of the Thai capital’s most prime locations, Sukhumvit Soi 15,in Bangkok’s bustling business, leisure and entertainment district.

The five-star Mövenpick Hotel Sukhumvit 15 Bangkok represents the Swiss hospitality firm’s first city hotel in Thailand, but its fourth countrywide, with three upscale beach properties already in operation: one in Koh Samui and two in Phuket. The Swiss hospitality firm operates Mövenpick Hotel Sukhumvit 15 Bangkok under a management agreement with the property’s owning company, Kijsompong Co., Ltd.

Highlights of the 297-key Mövenpick Hotel Sukhumvit 15 Bangkok include a 20-metre rooftop pool and bar, 330 square metres of meeting space and a cosy courtyard featuring a two-storey waterfall. “This provides a haven of tranquillity in a hotel that’s warm, inviting and welcoming to guests who are looking for an urban escape,” said Simon Rindlisbacher, General Manager of Mövenpick Hotel Sukhumvit 15 Bangkok.

The dining offering showcases Mövenpick’s renowned gastronomic expertise, with outlets serving a range of high-quality cuisine from Thai classics to European and international dishes. In addition, the Rainforest Rooftop Bar is a not-to-be-missed city experience where guests can enjoy cocktails and gourmet tapas, whilst taking in views of the magnificent Bangkok skyline.
