Peachtree Hotel Group (PHG), one of the nation’s fastest-growing hotel investment and management platforms, and Celebration Pointe Holdings announced the opening of the 140-room Hotel Indigo® property at Celebration Pointe. The hotel will be operated by PHG.
“The Hotel Indigo Gainesville is one of the anchor tenants of Celebration Pointe, north central Florida’s premier mixed-use development, complete with the area’s finest dining, entertainment, business and living options,” said Lee Shuman, PHG director of project management. “Gainesville has long since grown beyond being just a ‘college town,’ and Celebration Pointe is designed to capture the growing number of business and leisure travelers to the community.”
Strategically located within the mixed-use development project between SW 49th Terrace and SW 50th Terrace, facing a park setting, the six-story hotel features plush bedding, hard-surface flooring with area rugs and spa-inspired bathrooms. The Hotel Indigo Gainesville also provides a neighborhood bar with seasonal and locally sourced food in a stylish environment.
Hotel Indigo is offering special prizes for its first guest arrival and for all bookings in the first week. This includes a gift bag with local Gainesville products for the first guest, as well as complimentary food and beverage items.
“Today’s guests are focused on experiential travel, desiring to feel like they’re a part of the community as opposed to nameless tourists,” said Patrick O’Neil, president of Peachtree Hospitality Management. “To those ends, in addition to our localized F&B offerings, the hotel also features Hotel Indigo’s new Neighborhood Guide, an innovative touchscreen display that connects guests to each other, the local neighborhood and to Indigo neighborhoods worldwide. Our team members, many of whom are locals themselves, are well versed in a variety of helpful recommendations.”
“On behalf of Celebration Pointe Holdings and the entire development team, we could not be more excited about getting this very important piece of the overall project open. Hotel guests and visitors will be treated to a unique experience upon arrival, and the setting is second to none in the area,” said Ralph Conti, co-managing partner with Celebration Pointe Development Partners, the exclusive development manager for the project. “The Indigo brand complements the overall guest experience we are committed to delivering for all who set foot on the property.”
“I fully expect this will be the region’s signature hotel,” said Sean McIntosh, senior vice president of asset management for Celebration Pointe. “We are delighted to have Hotel Indigo as a part of the Celebration Pointe family.”
