Villa Palladio | 1492 Casey Key Road – Sarasota, Florida
Villa Palladio is an incredible four-story Italian villa located on Florida’s famed Casey Key barrier island, just minutes from Sarasota. Inspired by Italian architect Andrea Palladio, the estate combines classic 1st-century Roman-inspired architecture with Sarasota luxury, offering 360-degree, ocean-to-bay views; a private beach; boat dock; and infinity pool. The 5,886-square-foot estate is comprised of a walled and gated entry featuring a stone fountain; spacious master bedroom with his and hers bathrooms, and panoramic ocean views; a state-of-the-art kitchen offering an adjoining dining room and fireplace; a library bar; penthouse office; multiple travertine loggias and balconies; and an expansive Roman roof garden with a summer kitchen.
George Scantland, the seller and original architect of Villa Palladio, was inspired by Andrea Palladio’s incredible architecture and design following his first trip to Rome in 1977. Today, he considers the Florida villa to be a tribute to his mentor.
“A paramount design principle for me is to take full advantage of a property’s environment. To accomplish that on the breathtakingly narrow barrier island of Casey Key, I designed Villa Palladio in such a way that every major room would have views of both the ocean, and the Intercoastal Waterway, Blackburn Bay,” stated Scantland. “You can wake up in the morning to watch the sunrise and see the sunset later that day from the same room. Villa Palladio captures all of Palladio’s proven classical principles – symmetry, balance, and harmony – and is the epitome of waterside tranquility.”
Originally listed for $8.9 million, the estate will sell Without Reserve in cooperation with Kim Ogilvie of Michael Saunders & Company. Bidding will open on February 22nd.
Rugged House | 11 Chemin Killarney – Mont-Tremblant, Quebec, Canada

Fairmont Heritage Place | 900 North Point Street – San Francisco, California
Previously offered for $222,000, a pied-à-terre residence at the Fairmont Heritage Place — located in the former home of the world-renowned Ghirardelli chocolate factory — will sell Without Reserve in cooperation with Jeremy Holman of JMA Properties, Inc. Bidding will open on February 22nd.
Located at 900 North Point Street overlooking the San Francisco Bay, Fairmont Heritage Place is comprised of 53 modern residences. The winning bidder will enjoy 1/10th deeded fractional ownership, entitling him/her to a fully-furnished two-bedroom residence with a minimum of 35 days of use, annually. The floating usage policy allows owners to reserve time based on their travel needs and provides the unique opportunity to stay in a variety of similar unit types (with bay or city views). Additional perks include enrollment into the prestigious Le Club AccorHotels Platinum Membership, providing exclusive travel benefits to Accor hotel brands internationally.
“It goes without saying that this auction offers a rare opportunity to own a piece of one of the city’s most famous national historic waterfront landmarks with sweeping views of the San Francisco Bay at one’s own bid price,” Holman stated. “With access to Accor brands internationally, limitless shopping and dining options, five-star luxury living awaits the new owner.”
The Fairmont Heritage Place residences are comprised of a master retreat, luxurious furnishings, and spa baths; a chef’s kitchen; limestone fireplaces; aged, wind-plank maple floors; and exposed original brick walls. Additionally, residents enjoy access to five-star amenities and services including a chauffeured house car; private valet parking; complimentary golf equipment and bicycles; and access to two outdoor terraces with fire pits, a fitness room, and business meeting space.
“The Fairmont Heritage Place, Ghirardelli Square offers a unique pied-à-terre experience at a more reasonable and practical price point than traditional San Francisco residential real estate offerings,” stated Kevin Morgan, Vice President with JMA Ventures, LLC, the developer and owner. “This will be the first time we have held an international marketing event, and we are excited to partner with Concierge Auctions to provide this opportunity to one lucky bidder.”
Arc en Ciel – Saint Lucia, Caribbean
Located near the tranquil fishing village of Soufrière, bordering a forest reserve and sitting between the iconic peaks of the Piton Mountains, Arc en Ciel is a breathtaking villa built on a United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) World Heritage Site in the picturesque Caribbean island nation of Saint Lucia. Built by renowned architect Lane Pettigrew, the six-bedroom oasis boasts 360-degree views of the Caribbean Sea and a classic “Messel-inspired” Caribbean design – laid out in linked pavilions connected by arched verandas.
Featuring more than 5,000 square feet of living space, the home is comprised of a fully-equipped kitchen; a great room; a formal dining area with seating for 10 people; and a master bedroom boasting an en-suite bathroom, Jacuzzi and separate shower, opening to a private sun deck and mountain views. Additional outdoor features include an infinity-edge swimming pool; plunge pool; covered dining patio with a bar and fridge; sun loungers; and barbeque.
“We fell in love with the location of Arc en Ciel during our first visit to Saint Lucia because of its views of the majestic Pitons, the beautiful Caribbean Sea and spectacular sunsets,” stated the seller, Richard Tudor. “Working closely with our architect, we designed the house to take advantage of these features and to incorporate some of the architectural design of the historic buildings located in the north of the island. The local craftsmen produced a remarkable home, which we have thoroughly enjoyed.”
Previously listed for $8.5 million, the retreat will sell Without Reserve in cooperation with Angad Singh of Morne Fortune, Castries, St Lucia. Bidding will open on February 28th.
“Arc en Ciel’s breathtaking views are inarguably dramatic, framed by the iconic Pitons rising majestically from the sea,” stated Singh. “Further, the property’s UNESCO designation means that it has not only been recognized amongst the most beautiful locations in the world, but it is also protected against over development in the surrounding area. The upcoming auction is a very rare opportunity to bid on a one-of-a-kind property and become part of an exclusive group of stakeholders in a UNESCO World Heritage site.”
