Black Angus Steakhouse, the original American steakhouse, announced today a partnership with Avalon Winery to offer a special wine pairing dinner for National Filet Mignon Day.

“Filet mignon is our best-selling steak, so National Filet Mignon Day is the perfect holiday to not only honor the steak, but partner with the beloved Sonoma-based Avalon Winery,” said Liz Geavaras, chief marketing officer, Black Angus Steakhouse. “The special dinner pairs our filet mignon with Avalon’s popular California Cabernet Sauvignon, which has tasting notes of dark fruit, mocha and spice, with hints of vanilla.”

The special offer is available through Black Angus’ Facebook page and Prime Club Email Club only (coupon is needed to receive the offer). The featured pairing includes:

  • (2) 6 oz. of tender Filet Mignon, served with two Classic Sidekicks and Warm Molasses Bread
  • Paired with a bottle of Avalon California Cabernet Sauvignon
